Is there a Favre Leuba expert in the house

I’m jonesing for a Panerai desk clock but, deep down, I know they’re a shocking waste of money.

I stumbled across this today at a watchmaker’s little shop at my hotel in Mumbai. It’s a desk clock made by Favre Leuba and originates from around WW II time. Eight day manual wind, day and date is auto change over but month is a manual change. Brass shell, crystal ball type display and serviced by the shop owner.

I know ‘what’s it worth’ isn’t allowed but I’m hoping I’m not on too much dodgy ground because I want to buy for me and my desk, not to flip. Asking price is INR 12,500, which equates to about GB£148 / US$200. Worth it (if it’s what I want) or over-priced tat for silly tourists?

Many thanks in advance for any advice
