Recommendations for the best book on Rolex & Submariner History?
As Christmas approaches, I've been thinking about presents I would like (My Wife has already decided on hers!) and as someone who's close to pulling the trigger on a Rolex Submariner next year, I think I would appreciate a good book on the subject.
I've found out so much because of this brilliant community but sometimes, it's nice to sit down with a focused book. I'm interested in a historic Rolex book but as I'm also becoming more obsessed with the Submariner, I might appreciate a book on that model more. So, can anyone here recommend their favourite book on Rolex, its history or the history of the Submariner or its many incarnations, such as the MilSub? Many thanks for any advice! |

They look brilliant, but come with a hefty price tag!
I've seen this book which looks good for a more reasonable price, thought I'll pass it on. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/07643459..._dZGaAb5FKT7BT |

Try and pick up the rolex magazine submariner issue. Maybe see if any members have spare copies they are willing to let you buy.

The Dowling and Hess book is the best overall history of Rolex and the background of major models.
