My fellow obsessives
Is the shade/color of the blue dial the same on the DJ 41 as the Day/Date white gold model? I believe the latter dial is a slightly brighter blue. Thoughts? Also, what are your opinions of the way the Roman numerals are laid out on the white gold Day/Date models? For example, instead of IV for the number 4, it reads llll. Why do you think they chose that layout? Aesthetics?

Four written as IIII is standard for watches. It’s for dial symmetry. The first 4 numbers are all made up of ‘I,’ the next 4 all have a ‘V,’ and the last 4 all have a ‘X.’

Aesthetics.
And it's quite traditional in the sense that it's the very earliest form of the Roman numeral "4". |
