Daytona 116500LN availability in the USA v UK

Hi all,
Was just wondering if it would be possible/worthwhile travelling to the States to purchase a white 116500LN as its nearly impossible to source in the UK. Thanks in advance for any comments or advice.

After currency conversion costs, flights, hotels, not to mention import VAT of 20%, it will be cheaper and much easier for you to buy a brand new one from a grey dealer in the U.K.

You can find them very easily, so haggle hard and you will do ok.

No as you won't find one here either unless you want to pay a hefty premium.

I have read on other forums where a U.K. resident has purchase one form Switzerland. A quick flight over, pick up the watch and then head back home. Though i’m unsure if there are any tax implications of doing that.

The wait when I read that thread was about 6 months.

Not easy at all here. Finally got the matching set but took a year after I got the first one.

If you check Chrono24 there are 41 pieces of the 116500 Daytona's available in the UK but all at a big premium like in all other EU countries and the USA also.
