Ok this 116610 is fake, right?
On fleabay.... Suspected Fake Rolex 116610 Submariner
This guy claims that it is a 2017 model purchased in July, but the box is 100% fake and what's with the warranty papers that say "full one year warranty" and all the extra "validation" paperwork? By the way, his description says that the watch has a 2 year warranty. I took a zoomed in screenshot from my touchscreen laptop so the dial and bezel insert can be analyzed. I think the papers and accessories and box are all fake, but I am wondering what the thoughts are about the watch. Did the guy buy a legit watch unknowingly with fake box and accessories or is the whole package including the watch fake?

"4" font looks off to me. Too boxy characteristic of some five digit references. Top of the "5" looks off (thin) to me. Fakes can't get bezel numbers right. That's what I look to first.
I'd say sketchy and let this one go. Your picture angle makes it difficult to make a comprehensive determination though. |

try to rotate the bezel... rolex always have a distinct click sound which i think are hard to imitate..

Posts like this belong in the "Watch Out" section, where it will wind up anyway.
I agree that the box and papers look questionable at best and as far as the watch goes, it's questionable too, although the images are terribly lacking. These concerns, plus the seller's history, would dictate that the prudent buyer would pass.

Without looking at the watch...the seller has only 28 feedback, and looking at seller feedback its small items. I would not trust a seller with that kind of background.
I also dont lik these two pics of the clasp...id say run.

Junk. Box is fake and not even the correct style for 2017, the font on the warranty card is wrong, its been supplied with the wrong paperwork wallet and a crappy paper cert that hasn't been issued for years.

I think this seller mnrgames is using a different account and different photos and has removed his previous fake paperwork and substituted new fake paperwork.
mnrgames also from Savannah Georgia was selling what seems to be this same watch. I emailed this seller and he also claims that he bought it from an AD in Hong Kong. This new seller account is - brandolemk_2 Fake box, fake accessories, seemingly fake Submariner - but this time with different authenticity paperwork which for some reason states the box and papers are authentic - Those papers also don't show any part of the serial number. They would show the serial number and it would be up to the seller to blur it or paint over it. The paperwork also says that it is a 2018 model. This is not even close to what a 2018 box looks like. I have reported it. I hope some others can help report it also. |
