Dial Swap on a Rolex YG DD40

Just wondering if it is possible to request my local RSC to do a dial swap? I have a YG DD40 with sticks and black dial. Thinking of swapping it for a champagne roman numerals.

If yes, has anyone done this before?

Should be possible. Otherwise go to a Rolex AD with watchmaker, they can order dials and swap it for you.

I have been meaning to do the same with my DD. My local AD has a watchmaker who says that they can only swap out for plain colored dials and not much else. Kinda ruins my chances of getting another diamond dial if I stay local.

I just got off of the phone with the nice people over at Rolex USA in New York and they mentioned that they can swap dials on the basis that the replacement dial was a dial that you could get on the watch when purchased. I'll be calling the Dallas RSC here in a few minutes when they open to see what they say about the topic.
