Just wanted to do an accuracy check on your Rollies as of late. If you would, please post how accurate your watches are running based on the last time you checked. Please make sure to indicate which model you are referring to

My GMT-IIc is currently running about .5 seconds slow from the last time I check about 27 hours ago.

i had a similar issue with my gmtiic, it was running 1-2 seconds slow each day when i bought it new in May and about 2 weeks ago i checked it versus www.time.gov and it dropped to about 3-5 seconds slow a day. I took it to the RSC in Beverly Hills and had them regulate it to +2-3 second fast. All is well and the watch has been within 2 seconds fast per day of regular use. I left the watch sitting flat during this past thanksgiving holiday and noticed the watch only slowed down 4 seconds for the whole week i was gone, the watch never stopped for 7 days of inactivity and is still running as of today, again i havent touched the watch at all and its laying flat on my dresser.
Prior to having it regulated i notice the watch would stop after about a week of inactivity.

My GMTIIc runs about one second a day slow while I am wearing it, and then picks that second back up again if I leave it face up on the nighttable during the night. Wearing and storing it this way, it is about 2 seconds slow per month. I have to do some careful long-term measurements to see just how accurate it is, but this is pretty impressive.

My GMT is 10 seconds slow, but I am not sure if I set it to TRF time.
My DD is +5 but I just got it serviced and will reset tomorrow morning to TRF time.
My Air King is dead {on} at RSC for teh moment getting serviced and calibrated.

About .7 sec/day slow (averaged over a month of use, 6 days a week) for my Z series GMT IIc. Left it sunny side up at night as recommended to reclaim lost milliseconds....and so I could look at it some more. Losing time never looked so good.

GMT-II's caseback was opened 50 days ago and regulated, movement confirmed to be 3186. Since then, time has gain 1 minute, which is 1.2 seconds per day.

BTW, I know we've probably posted on this before but what are the COSC requirements?

Plus 2 secs per day. Glad it gains as it makes synching with the über clock easier and less wear and tear! Just pull out the stemto hack it and wait a few secs to get to the right time then start the watch. If my watch lost 2 secs then I would have to twist the stem to reset it- I'm sure thatit probably doesn't cause any extra wear and tear if one has to move the hands with the winder!

My DJ is at the RSC for regulation (was +14.6/day over a 16-day long test) and polishing part that my AD had messed up... Been gone for >40 days, I miss it it!

My 16610 M series is running about 25-30 seconds fast since winding it about 4.4 months ago! I'm not kidding when I say that this fine timepiece is unbelievably accurate.

Got this watch (pre-owned) in July and it has been, consistently, +7 seconds a day over the 5 months I've had it.
I realize that is just on the edge of the correct timing spec and go back and forth, almost daily, on whether to send take/it in to be regulated or just leave it alone.
What I have been doing to "adjust" for this is set it 100 seconds behind at the beginning of the month (28 days). That way it is "catching up" for about 10 days, "on time" for about 10 days and "fast" for the last week or so. I would love it to be around +1 or 2 daily but don't want to deal with sending it to an RSC and be without it for 6-8 weeks over just a couple of seconds. I could probably take it to a local watchmaker as well but in the back of my mind hear my Dad saying, "If it ain't broke..."
Leaning toward biting the bullet and sending it to get worked on after the holidays but we’ll see, not sure I’d actually be able to bring myself to hand it over once I was at the post office!

ive only had mine for a 8 days so far, it was running about 7 seconds a day at first, but now seems to be running about 2 sec a day fast. 16610 Sub Date, Z code. I understand there is a break in period tho, but its getting better and better. 2 seconds fast i can live with, if it gets more, Ill take it over to RSC Toronto, and have it regulated.

Good for you, +2 a day is about ideal, I wish mine was there!

I get +7 per day so after the holidays may have it regulated.
