Initially I kind of wrote off the YMII since I didn't understand how the complication works, but now that I do, it's a really impressive watch - the flyback/fly-forward countdown synchronization is really really cool.
How do you use the complication? I'm a sailor myself, and I do a good amount of PHRF racing, but I think I'd hesitate to wear such an expensive watch in that context - I use a Luminox watch for sailing. I find that steel watches would get beat up quickly in that context, and I really like having the tritium lume that is visible all night for overnights. Not sure if you've found a use for it in a day-to-day context or if you just wear it for racing. |
