Arrived SS Sub

Was supposed to sell this but opted to keep it. I went from a '97 gmt on a jubilee to this and the weight difference is like going from a fishing weight to an anchor.

I think the old case suited my wrist better, I'm a slim man with wrists just a little over 7" but this watch is just beyond quality so it's staying.

I'm going to hit the weights and beef up my wee wrists.

It’s a beauty, congratulations

I wouldn’t say 7” wrists are small either btw, that should fit you perfectly

Maybe you're right, it's maybe just the difference in size and getting used to it.

Cheers folks!

It is one of the best modern Rolex around...will never grow old and will never go out of style. Goes with anything in your wardrobe...what more can I say?

7" wrist size is definitely not small. That Sub is not big on you at all, looks like it fits great. The difference between the new ceramic models vs the old GMTs is like night and day, in a good way. Both have their charm but the new bezel and bracelet are just HUGE improvements. You will wind up loving it I'm positive. Congrats!

Excellent choice. It looks both dignified and a bit elegant in its simplicity.

I'm somewhat new to seeing the NATO strap thing, never really liked it that much, always preferred bracelets, but since joining this forum, my appreciation has grown, and must admit, that black Submariner looks quite good, looks great on that NATO.

Good decision to keep it....
