new ss blro 126710 for $22k.

presuming you can't get the blro at retail.

Tough one. Love both but I’d probably go with the smurf. It truly is a one of a kind and with the blro being so inflated, I’d go for the pm piece.

116619LB all day. If you are going to spend 20k+ on a Rolex, you should walk away with precious metal. I like the BLRO. I am not even hating on the grey market prices. But at the end of the day, it's not worth paying double the MSRP now for stainless steel unless you absolutely have to have the piece. Since you're asking a "this or that" question, I am assuming to don't have to have it.

Are you getting caught up in the hype and chase of the Pepsi or is $13K markup worth the utility cost for you? I'm not a fan of looking at these decisions in terms of MSRP for a watch. With that said, $13k over list for an SS watch is A LOT. Both watches are beautiful. And guess what...both are priced at market value! Do whatever makes you happy.

I'd for sure get something else but if I had to choose between these two (at those prices), I'd go PM.

116619, no question.

That said, I’d rather have the new BLRO at MSRP and either save the rest of the money or put it towards another watch. Ok, fine, obviously put it towards another watch lol

If you want a BLRO get the WG for this price plus some, getting the SS at 22k is crazy

I'd go Smurf, way more value to me.
I'd feel ripped off paying that for the SS Blro, might as well spring for WG.

Neither for me, but if I had to pick between the two it’d be the smurf. No way I’m paying that type of premium on a watch.

Oh, the Smurf definitely. I actually like it more than the SS BLRO. Where does the SS BLRO madness end as I've heard mention of $25k! I'll take WG over SS any day, especially when the price differential is so small. My 2 cents. Cheers!

I'd choose neither.

Between those 2 watches... If i stand on one leg, close one eye & tilt my head at the right angle... I can kind of see the BLNR being the perfect love child of the 2 of them (and for a lot less money).
GMT Movement/function: check
SS: check
Splash of blue: check
40mm size: check
Option to swap bracelets: check

Just a thought.

I am fortunate enough to be able to enjoy both. WG BLRO is my favorite but the Smurf is wonderful too! I can’t bring myself to sell either one... for what the SS is bringing, I could not possibly buy SS over a pre-owned WG BLRO.

Overlook the "must have" BS and wait about 2-3 years. Market saturates, prices drop.
