Is the clasp all I need?

Just remove 91350 clasp and attached 1/2 link and bolt up the glidelock?

I removed a permanent link at 6 and it's perfect for my wrist. I think the glidelock clasp is too long and heavy for the 5 digit Sub but that's just me.

would an easy link from a 214270 be a direct swap?

I believe it would just like the glidelock clasp, but on the opposite side I think its shorter than the 93150. I would not do it, but I know you like mods etc so go for it.

I've got an AD that can order me the 77200 clasp and easy link - just need to verify I can unscrew current clasp and screw this on before finalizing it.

any input here - I assume based on previous threads I am 100% good to go.

I sent him this and he said "yup! 4-6 weeks"

Damn, be interested to hear how it turns out. I kinda agree that a milled clasp might upset the weight balance of the 5 series bracelet but I love the easy adjustability of my omega clasp and it'd be nice to have that on my sub as well. How much is this? Getting the 1154 clasp and correct end links from omega ran me around $200 when I converted my SMP but it really helped.

I did the same on my 2254 before parting with it.

I think that the glidelock (97200) clasp would be noticeable on the weight but I don't think the smaller easylink setup will make a terrible difference. It actually made the 2254 feel more substantial.

Right under $1400 for everything, crazy I know but its cheaper than going through the marketplace on here and I don't have to watch the forums constantly to get one when it is posted.

It's a keeper watch, already done the hand swap so why not top it off with the clasp.

I appreciate a lot about rolexes but the "Rolex tax" on stuff like a clasp is a bit much. I looked at some of the stuff you wanted to do with a 114060 and appreciate it. Not for me, but nice to see that the options exist :)

I think the entire 97200 bracelet is around $2,000.00. Just the clasp and easylink for $1400 is indeed steep....

yes it is.

I've got $3k scopes on things that get used maybe 10-12 times a year, figure something that I use daily its worth it.

Won't care a year from now.

that's how I justified it..... that and I want my sub to be different and still 100% OEM in its own way.

ETA: the AD said he can't get complete bracelets from Rolex as its a 1:1 replacement (97200 is $2575 FYI), same goes for the glidelock claps. He said for this clasp and link it wasn't a problem. Parts have been ordered and was told to expect 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Your ORJ must have some pull on Rolex. The ORJs I visited all said they had to send the watch in just to get an easylink.

I'm in TN and this AD is out of state. The local one said "no parts from Rolex" so on an odd chance I shot an email to this one. I travel a lot and always make sure to pop in and see them when in town (client based in their smaller town).

I'll make sure to buy my next one from them when the time comes too.

I did the glidelock clasp for my 14060m. It’s so much more comfortable to wear now. Didn’t really notice any weight difference.

I got an easy link from eBay brand new for about $90 for my 114270. Unpin the clasp and unscrew the link and do the reverse and good to go. I'd like the oyster lock clasp, but don't think I'd spend more than $500. If he can get it around there, please let me know.
