AD recommendations

Hi, can anyone recommend an AD in the NY metro area (NYC and Long Island) where you received good service and overall positive experience? Thanks

Wempe wempe wempe. Go to the best, ignore the rest. They may have trouble getting you something since many VIPs shop there but the service is second to none. They know their watches.

London’s is ok as well out in LI and at the WTC Oculus.

I've had great luck at Lorilil in Queens (DBLUE DSSD) and Kravitz in Oceanside. I even got lucky at Tourneau in Roosevelt Field Mall (got the BLNR the it first came out). It all depends on the stock and the sales person.

Check out Martin Jewelers in Cranford, NJ. Ask for Jeff or Scott, they’re good guys.

Depends what you mean by good service?

Many moan about so called bad service because they won’t be put on lists for Blnr/HULK/Pepsi GMT.

Me too. I bought my sub from Amy at Morre-Lyons in Clifton. They understand Rolex enthusiasts.

i agree they are the best AD i have ever used (London)... however a positive experience is dependent on A. How well they know you and B. what watch you want

they are always polite in my experience but asking for a daytona and being told no when you are not an established customer makes some people mad no matter how nice they are about it.

leonardo jewelers is the the placed i used, they had a bluesy in stock at different location , and they transferred it to the store near me. Annie is one of the owners i believe. i believe they are a repair center also. they made feel right at home with my very first rolex purchase. would use them again in a heart beat.

I agree with others that said Wempe is incredible. Their customer service is the best I've ever received at any store in any category. The in-house repair shop is outstanding. They also invite customers to some cool in-store events. The president, Rudy, is awesome and the sales staff is the perfect combination of classy but not snobby or judgmental. Just don't expect much in terms of SS Rolex (unless you're a whale) and you should have a great experience. Then again, if you're on this forum SS Rolex is probably what you want, in which case Wempe may not be your best bet. I have experienced some good luck with Rolex sports models at Tourneau on 57th.

wempe is great and super professional but i think right now as you said if you're going for SS it would be difficult, and if you're going for PM they wouldn't ever give much of a discount because its nyc
