Vintage Daytona Zenith 1999 help?
Hi, new to the forums.
I've just bought(trader) 16528 U Series originally purchased 1999 18ct YG MOP + Diamond dial. Now I checked everything and the watch is kosher but Rolex wouldn't confirm the mother of pearl diamond dial without me sending it in. What I mean is, I think the dial is an original but they wouldn't confirm the original manufacture dial was actually the mother of pearl with the diamonds for that specific watch. They just confirmed you could get the dial on that model at the time of purchase. Anyone got any information of MOP Daytona Diamond Dial from Zenith era? I can't find one on the internet anywhere not even previously sold. I'm interested in production amounts and the rarity of the watch. I also wondered it's worth on the current market with original B+P. I've checked chrono24 and lots of similar sites and found black/white dials and only one/two diamond/emerald dial (55KGBP+). I've tried to gain as much information as I can but if anyone has prior knowledge or heard of the same spec watch and can tell me more that would be great. Trying to gauge rarity and worth! I've been sent a normal MOP dial link from users on reddit post but still no luck on finding the exact same watch for sale online or one that has been sold online/auction. Nothing on instagram either other my post of trade profile. |
