Waiting time for DaytonaC UK ?
Hey All
Am new to this forum. Have been lucky over the last 18 months being able to purchase Blk SubC date/Hulk/Batman at retail price (by chance phoning random ADs and happen to have them), however am wondering (for those who own SS Daytona Ceramic), how long did you have to wait before you got the call? Been on a list since summer 2017 and waiting...(lucky to even be on a list at this moment, but wonder if AD would actually deliver)! *sigh* |

Were any of those previous purchases from the same AD that has you on the list for the Daytona? If all had been acquired from the same AD, your Daytona would probably already be on your wrist. Definitely something for you to keep in mind going forward.

There are so many factors involved it’s impossible to say. Sorry that’s not what you wanted to hear but it’s the sad truth. Could be 2 months. Could be 2 years. Could be never :(

As above. Contact the ADs you have previously bought from as there is NO chance you're going to cold call a random AD who will sell you a stainless steel Daytona. Sorry.

This depends on your purchase history with the AD. If you purchased your watches from the same AD this will significantly increase your chances. Please note from experience waiting list in much of the ADs do not exist. Purchase history is very important, this is from my experience with my AD and also other colleagues have received their Daytona from UK ADs as they had a good purchase history. There is no exact rule.
Good luck. |

No matter where you shop in the uk it’s going to be 4-8 years.
Only exception is if you have history. If you walk in today and buy a dj and a pm and they have one in the safe it’s yours in most cases. |

Thanks all for your replies, much appreciated.
I did contact the ADs where I got the BLNR & Hulk from, and refused to put me on the list as it’s closed. My name has been submitted to head office of a reputable dealer so hopefully DaytonaC will land soon.. |

1.5 years after building a good relationship and I got the surprise call, they will want to sell you it and not just because you have your name on a list.

I’m actually shocked you managed to get the Sub LN, Sub LV and the BLNR within 18 months. With your luck you’ll get the call for the Daytona next week! Any chance you can share the name (or names) of the AD you managed to get lucky with to help everyone else out!

I like your optimism, I can tell you from personal experience, despite being on the list within an hour of launch, I wouldn’t expect a call anytime soon.

The aloof AD's - I paid double digits for mine in the end. Couldn't take the itch... good luck on your quest.

However you may need to just dig deep and go grey for this one. |

Be hopeful but don't think this will land soon, franchises have more VIPs to service than small Indies.

Thanks All for the responses.
They were from Aurum group (Chester & Sheffield). I’m so close to going grey on this one. Agree a lot of VIPs walk in and get one straight away. Think the white dial especially (one I’m after) is touching £18k !! |
