Bluesy on SS

Curious on thoughts of a Bluesy on a SS bracelet....

I have a sub, but would like something a little more rare, but not too loud.

116618 on a stainless bracelet would just be odd to me. For a rare Sub - I would say 1680 Red line or a 1665 DRSD...

Just my .02

The bluesy becomes not to flashy on the sub-c bracelet.

(Not my pictures)

I like it. Will try that combo tomorrow as I have a spare SubC bracelet. Might work out better for work environment.

Looks a little odd. Wonder how it will look on a SS PCL bracelet?

Leaves the gold looking a little stranded, in my opinion.

It looks wrong to me... like a punk rocker in a suit if you know what I mean... I guess if you like it that’s all that matters though.

Looks much better with the two tone bracelet, that frankenwatch looks like a fake on a stainless bracelet

I agree.

When you make these types of changes to a Rolex, it looks like you have a fake watch.

A little odd but in a good way. Id wear it. Picturing a SS crown though. Looks a little smurfy.

If changing to SS bracelet is to dress down, I would rather go all the way down to NATO

Those pictures are interesting. The look doesn't work for me, but so what? Each to their own.

For some reason, the 13LB looks particularly visually balanced and utterly beautiful to me on its OEM bracelet. PM and TT don't usually do it for me, but he Blusey does. And the Smurf. The watch in question is a kind of "BLurf". I find it difficult to reconcile the SS bracelet with the 13LB crown, bezel and dial.

But you only live once....

it looks better than i thought it would on a subc bracelet but i'm not a fan of frankenwatches or buying a flashy watch and toning it down with straps

Just looks wrong, like the gold is an afterthought and is overwhelmed by the SS.

Not as offensive as I first thought; but still not my personal favorite. I think if the crown were not gold it could flow a bit better. True Bluesy for the win.

I agree it looks wrong with the gold and blue bezel insert. But if the smurf can make it on white gold, maybe a blue/silver insert would yield a better curb appeal.

The pics were mine. I swapped my LVc bracelet with the 116613lb. It actually didn't look that bad in person but I agree with the comments above about franken-watches looking fake. Anytime I see something off, I do think "fake". It was a fun exercise but the bluesy belongs on a TT bracelet.
