Should I Report My AD?

Didn’t comply with Rolex requirement of removing all stickers on my BLRO.
Just found these two by accident after two months.

They were so nice that I think I will just remove them on my own and not file a formal complaint.

That’s totally unacceptable!
You should sell it to me for full MSRP so you don’t have to live with this injustice.

If they missed those two easy ones, I’m sure there’s at least one more lurking about...ahem, clasp area...

My AD forgot one on my Daytona. It was rather satisfying to remove.

I found one on my BLNR about a month after buying it too. It was one of the small ones on the lug and only on one of the four lugs. Fun.

March right back into the store, throw the watch at them, and demand your money back.

That'll teach 'em!

if you think about it, they have absolutely no right to either touch your stickers, or keep your warranty card, we live in stupid times when we accept this.

I had two stickers on my clasp on my 116500. Back when I had the LVc I found a tiny sticker on the clasp a good 2 years after wearing the watch.

What's the worst that could happen? You leave it on and it saves you from a ding one day, or until it is noticeable and you peel it off....

My AD laughed at me once for going in with a watch where I added a small strip of scotch tape to protect my clasp.

After stickers are removed, the AD should be required to run your new watch through a little brushing machine that adds all sorts of micro-scratches so it absolutely cannot be resold as new.

Sort of like the complimentary carwash at the dealership, where you take your car in for service and it comes back clean but with all those nice little scratches and swirlies.

Good idea? Would also prevent so many of these "scratch magnet" emails.

That’s next - mandatory carbon steel screwdriver scratch added to 2 o’clock lug and scotch bright on 9 o’clock side to price you won’t sell as new.

So maybe chewed up screws and scratched lugs during AD bracelet resizing is done on purpose? Hmmm..... very clever indeed.

After well over a month I found tiny stickers here and there on my BLNR. I don’t know how any human could find and remove them all when sizing a watch.

But I’d report them anyhow!

Very easy. I found two stickers six weeks after I bought my rose gold GMT and I clean my watches before I wear them. They are good at hiding. It’s like a Easter egg hunt.

Non compliant ADs deserve to lose their dealership status. The audacity!

I loved your post. It should be my take on all the AD requirements. I found a tiny sticker on my BLNR a few weeks after getting it.
