Opinions on a trade
Hey guys,
What are your opinions on trading a rose gold daytona on an oysterflex + a steel date just 41 for a white gold day date 40? Trade: To get: Worth it? EDIT: or the Daytona plus some cash? |

I think the Daytona + Datejust is a little much on your end. You could ask for some cash with the DD or sell the DJ separately. But I wouldn't be shocked if the best you get is a straight up trade.

I think it should be your daytona plus a five thousand for the DD. I would then sell your DJ, and pick up a SS sports watch, and then you’d be set.

This is one of the hardest "should I trade it" I have ever witnessed in my small time here. I wouldn't own either of your current pieces on the chopping block but I do feel like this is a deal where you are taking an unneeded bath.
Comparing on what we have on the site where you pulled the WG DD picture from, looks like 30k ish is what you need with 25k ish coming from your Daytona and 7 coming from your DJ; looks like it's an easy profit. Which is fine and dandy. After this analysis, I have determined this is a fair grey market trade. Now, what else is in the collection? I think a WG DD as your singular watch is doable but not ideal. |

Doesn’t look fair your end. You should get some cash your way, too. Otherwise, list and sell them separately

Your gold daytona is worth atleast 20 grand on trade, date just around 5-8 k. New day date is 28 grand from DavidSW. If your buying new that is not a bad deal. If the day date is used its worth about 25 grand . A white gold day date looks like a date just, go for yellow gold on a day date or buy a white gold sub. or gmt.

From a TS, it’s a fair trade. Not sure if I would do it. That DD is my favorite, though.

I like your Daytona and DJ. I don’t like that DD. I would keep your two, but that is my taste.
