Which tuna?

Buying a sbdx014 or a 16? So conflicted which I should go for. My sister in law is Japanese so they are both easy to come by? What would you go for?

They are very small, if youve got a very slender wrist its a great option.
They are not real Tunas though, more of a budget option with a tuna case.
They are smaller than the SBBN031

I have owned the SBBN015/017 and the solar one wears the same imo. It is just a little slimmer and definitely lighter.

My wrist is 6.5 inches. Intrigued by the solar Tuna. Thinner, smaller, cheaper.

I put the solar tuna on my wrist next to my 031 which isnt big in itself, at the seiko boutique and it looked quite a bit smaller, a few mm all round and a few mm can be a lot in a watch, nice watches though..
Ive only got 7.25 wrists, the solar looked small, i was a bit disappointed..

Nice watch, ive got the black one.
Love the design but pity its a kinetic, too many watches in the rotation now, cant seem to keep a charge up.
Im going to try bypassing the kinetic, remove the wheel and disconnect the capacitor and go the battery route.

They will be a perfect size for you, i was really impressed with the looks of the black gold model, looked smashing in real life.

Id have bought one if i had 6.5'' wrists for sure.

The solar Tuna is 47mm L2L, the 031 is 47.7 L2L. The only difference is the height. The solar Tuna is 2mm thinner.

Going by seiya the sbbn is 48mm and 14.7mm tall.
Solar is 46.7mm wide and 12.4mm high.

The solar looked a lot smaller on the wrist, not sure if it was the black shroud, just felt small.
