A collection presented in wrist shots

I’ve never done a SOTC before but think that I’m at a point where it is worth posting. I’d say my collection is complete but I’m trying to acquire a 16710 Coke so I’ll probably never stop. I think of ways to try to consolidate but I wear every one of them regularly and it is always tough to pick a favorite.

First the Speedy, a 1971 I purchased eight years ago. Had it serviced once and wear it 3-4 days a week to work.

Second is the white dial Royal Oak Chronograph. I bought this before and for my wedding a couple years ago. I love the versatility of it and all of the detailing.

Third is the Panerai 682. The size is great and it is incredibly comfortable.

Fourth is my rose gold Royal Oak Chronograph. I’ve been obsessed with this dial since it was released and finally found a near mint one earlier this year.

Fifth is my 1982 Speedmaster Mark IV. Unfortunately I had to send it to service so I haven’t been able to wear it much, but I’m really looking forward to getting it back from Omega.

Sixth is my IWC 3714-82. I added a custom strap from Combat Straps and think it makes it a lot more casual. The dial is stunning.

Last and most recent is a 1991 16718. It’s my first all gold watch. It is blingy as hell but the slimmer lug and lighter bracelet is much more comfortable than the modern version. This was just serviced with RSC last year and is near mint.

Very nice collection

I think my favorite is the ROC

What’s the reference number for that one?

That is an amazing collection. Absolutely incredible!! I am extremely envious. Those time pieces a “who’s who” of a lot of peoples grails.

Love the watches, my only comment is I thought LA was supposed to be sunny, not like London on a drizzly day.

You have a very nice and diversified collection. Its refreshing to see a collection like yours and not all Rolex with the same dial layouts, same bezels, same everything - I really wonder with some peoples collection having 3-4 GMTs, 3-4 Subs, 3-4 Daytona's - all I think every time I see that is why?

Rolex can get boring at times. Your collection is one that is well rounded and some great pieces in there. Well done.

Not really a fan of Patek. I think a Lange 1 would be a good replacement for the IWC 3714 some day. I love the Datograph but would have to sacrifice too many watches to acquire.
