Help to identify Ladies Watch
Please can anyone help me to identify my wife's 14ct gold Rolex cocktail watch?
It was purchased in the UK in 1976, and we are unable to find a local dealer that can identify it. Searching the internet for a similar design doesn't help either. I've attached some photographs, any assistance in identification or estimate of value would be much appreciated. Thank you |

i think you already identified it. it's a lady's solid gold manual wind dress watch. value-wise i wouldn't get too excited as aside from any sentimental value those small vintage lady's models are not so sought after. realistic value might be around it's gold scrap value.

As above I’m afraid.A watch from a bygone era and sadly no longer fashionable .Scrap value or sentimental value.

even ladies Oyster perpetuals are hard to sell, as 26mm is considered too small - these dress watches are impossible to sell. Sorry. However, I have noticed slight increase in interest for ladies cocktail watches lately. A local store has a number of WG Hamiltons with diamonds and more and more women are actually looking at them. |

The one thing this piece has going for it is the warranty paper and box. The problem as said above is the hard sale.

I think its a lovely watch, Very nice dress watch, even these days IMHO.
Does your wife wear it? Wonder how many of these Cocktail watches have been scrapped over the years. |
