The Question for Feb 2009 :-)

Greetings all,

My question is............

In any given day, haw many time do you look at the magnificent time peace on your wrist? out of those times, do you actually read the time? :-)

I'm constantly admiring my Rolex, to the point where I'm bumping into walls, other people, nearly run over, tripping over things and after all that I still wouldn't know the time :-)

Honestly, I wish our next step in evolution is independent movement of eyes :-) one for my Rolex one for my safety :-)

No I sound like a klutz :-) I'm not that bad, now whats the time hehehe.

Dave.

I look at mine a lot, especially in low light conditions. I love the green glow! If I am in public, I put on as if I am checking the time, but rarely am I.

The truth is out! I feel much better.

I mostly use my PC screen or mobile or a wall clock to tell time. Seriously, I can only remember a few times during the day when I actually look at the watch for the time. I might use the calendar a little more. And that's why I didn't choose the ND Sub. :)

Even if I pull out my hand out of my sleeve to see what time it was, I would stare at the dial, or admire the seconds hand movement or even ensure that the bezel is aligned the way like it and forget about checking what time it is. Funny you should bring this up now. Yesterday I took a peek at my watch and friend asked me what time it was, I had to check again. LOL

I agree with you all :-)

My wife asks me the time, a matter or seconds after I look at my watch :-) and I have to look again heheheh

I have also a habit of carrying a cloth in my laptop bag / wallet / pocket to give the Rolex a quick dust/finger print removal :-) drives my other half nuts.

What makes this even more ironic, I have given her watches as gifts over the past 12 years we've been together and she refuses to wear one, arg a naked wrist, just the thought of it :-)

I know my wife thinks/believes I'm crazy, I too look at my watch and forget to notice what time it is!!! I know I have Rolexmania and drool often when looking at my watch with no thought to what time it is. I've always enjoyed watches and knew one day I would be able to afford a Rolex and now I'm hooked(addicted). HEY IS THERE A 12 STEP PROGRAM FOR MY MALADY!!!

LOL

So true !

My assistant even gave me a small piece of special dust cloth to clean it... she couldn't stand see my use my tie for it lol

The only time i look at the time on my Rolex is :

To compare with some atomic clock... otherwise : my TMax's dashboard clock, my desktop or my blackberry...

Most of the time i just pretend i am checking time just to admire my Rolie
