It is the meeting you are coming to as well...the one that has been organized by Frostie's initiative in the Greek forum and some TRF members will be attending too like yourself, Frostie etc.

But this is on the 28 th. Is it not ?

We will have people coming from as far as 700 kms away, ( Kavala, at the NE) and this will be our first National meeting !!

You Americans do not laugh at the 700 kms. It is a loooooooooooooong distance for us !!

As the logo says " Americans think that 200 years can be called "history", and Europeans that 500 miles is a "long distance" "

So, you have plenty of time to book tickets and come along !

The most famous temple of Parthenon ( The temple of the Virgins ), built some 2500 years ago, from pure white marble retrieved from the adjucent mountain of Pendeli, will witness this meeting from its place on the top of the Athens Acropolis ( Top of the city ) complex. The face of the temple, classical Greek architecture sample of the past, has been widely copied in many buildings around the world and in the US, as well as from Rolls Royce car builders for their grill.

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, YOU ARE ALL WELCOME !!

The beers will be served chilled

I can't make it, but my mum is in Greece at the moment (Xalkis/Chalkida)

So maybe I will send her in my place she can bake some koulourakia, keftedes, and maybe bring her famous pastichio

Hey, someone should drop Tasos (Tempoking) a PM... I think he is on his way to Europe, then Greece at the moment.

Na peraseta kala pedia.

Since when does the planet Venus, shoot up rapidly and disappear???

Good old Greek officials talking their usual !

As for Olympic, i flew Paris to Athens last year and couldn't help but laugh when the flight crew started yelling and handing out newspapers during the safety demo.

Have a great time at the GTG mates and hope to catch up with some of you next time i come over.
