Panda discontinued?

Am I the only one that thinks they discontinued the ‘panda’ a couple of years ago?
I don’t think the 116500 is a panda.
I don’t even think the current Daytona’s with solid sub dials are ‘pandas’.
I’d rather not use nicknames, but if they are going to be used, can’t we at least get it right?
Not trying to step on anyone’s toes. Feel free to correct me on any watches in the past that we’re called ‘pandas’.
I thought this was the only ‘panda’...

I love that watch. If I wanted a TT daytona that would be it. I saw one at an AD December 2017. Not sure if it was just a 116523 or if that dial made it to 116503. There is also a white gold version of that watch.
