A replica of a replica... err, homage.
A replica of a replica... Or is it a homage of a homage?

True. I just find it amusing to see a replica of a homage watch.
BTW... I am not knocking Alpha Watches. I recently purchased an Alpha Radiomir. |

I ordered my Alpha Radiomir direct from Alpha's website for $58 shipped. The watch is shipping from HK, so I have not received the watch yet. What stirred my interest was padi56's review of the Alpha Chronograph, a hommage to the Daytona Paul Newman. I started doing a little more research on Alpha and found quite a following. I also found more good reviews than bad.

I love my Alpha radiomir. Runs great, looks good, and is overall fairly well built. For the price, you really can't go wrong.

I've always said that if the fakers made their own they'd do well. Maybe some finally heard me.

Alpha has been around for a while. We have had some discussions about Alpha watches in the past on this site. For a while we would get a group discount on these watches. I bought 2 but kept the Radiomir because I liked it the best, although I barely wear it. I stick to my Sub.

I bought my Alpha Radiomir out of curiosity... more of a novelty time piece. I typically sport my Baume et Mercier Capeland S or Rolex Datejust. The Day-Date stays locked up and is only worn on "special" occassions.
