3135 power reserve for 30 hours?

Hey all. I got my second Rolex with a 3135 and it kept stopping on me if I didn't wear it out for a day. I timed my new 3135 (YG sub) and the power reserve lasted about 30 hours. My old TT sub would still be running if I didn't wear it for a couple of days. Since I have limited experience, could someone confirm this is in the realm of normal for a brand new 3135?

Are you fully winding your watches 40 turns before wearing them ?

I would give it a full wind (30-40 turns) before wearing just to make sure if the reserve is full.

Think it should be ~48 hours.

To really check I'd wind the hell out of it. No harm in over winding it so give it like 80 full crown revolutions and see what you get.

I tested my 3135 in my sub c date and got 53 hours power reserve using 50 winds of the movement and let it sitting on the table..also tested the 2824 50 winds sat on table in one of my blackbays and got 42 hour. So you do get more power reserve than the specs say

My prior sub was happy with 45 turns for a full wind. I gave it a full 50 turns to be safe. Still only got 30 hours.

I can give that a shot. It would be odd if 50 turns didn't get the job done when 45 turns took care of my prior 3135.

If I still get about 30 hours should I activate my Rolex warranty/have AD take a look or is 30 within the range of normal? I was expecting more like 48 +/- 6 hours, but again I have only had one 3135 before and am not familiar with the distribution in the real world.

50 winds left on a table only get 30 hours power reserve means time to service

I de-stickered it 2 weeks ago and have only worn it 2 or 3 times. Time to call the AD?

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure 30 hours seemed significantly low to everyone else as well. I will give it 80 winds when I get home and see if the results are repeatable and report back in a couple of days.

That would depend on how you are winding your watch it needs 40 plus full 360 degrees crown turns clockwise only as they only wind on a forward wind.

Thanks for the advice guys. Turns out I was under-winding with my 45 turns. With excessive winding (80 turns) I got 47 hours and 45 minutes for the first test and 46 hours and 40 minutes on the confirmatory test. Good enough for me. Appreciate the help!
