DJ41 Blue Dial Made it home........

Yesterday I posted that I had committed to this watch BUT i didn’t share the quick story that goes with it.

Link to the initial post about this watch. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=694820

I had been looking at this watch for sometime and after reading some stories in this forum it seemed that it was going to be hard to get, so this is how it all went down........

One day last week in the afternoon I was at a restaurant by my self browsing the web, I went to the Rolex site and I took a screen shot of the DJ 41 blue dial with the Jubilee bracelet that I had been looking at and reading about for the last couple of months.
I decided the text the screen shot to my AD Rep, I asked her that if one of these DJ’s came her way to give me a call that I would love to see it. The next morning I received a text from her telling me that in their vault she happen to have the same exact watch I had just inquired about the night before.
My jaw dropped to the floor! Are you serious!!?? Was my reply back to her. She replied, yes I have it right here in my hand. I wasn’t quite ready to pull the trigger because I didn’t expect it to be available so quick.
I went to see it and I loved it. However, I asked for a few days to think about it to make sure I wasn’t making an impulsive decision. I got the green light from my wife, so when she called me yesterday to follow up I committed to it. I picked it up during lunch today and its awesome!! This obsesión has to stop!!

It was meant to be! Everything lined up! I will just have to keep waiting for the Daytona.

That’s my story!!

Fluted bezel, jubilee and a blue dial, a perfect combination? Quite possibly. A gorgeous watch, enjoy and wear in good health

According to one AD I spoke to this combo is one of the most in demand watches for them.

Lovely watch!

Very nice, congrats! I have the unfluted, oyster version (but also jubilee bracelet so i can mix and match!)

Now, to say 'stars were aligned, meant to be'... Let me recap. You phoned, it was in stock (common, i know it's rare for rolex to be in stock, but pretty much all other brands have stock, and we're talking about a DJ here!), so you bought it :D

That's a very simple buying process, I like it :D (but bad for the wallet!)

Beautiful! The fluted bezel adds so much extra personality to what is already a beautiful watch.

Is that the same blue dial as in the blue sky dweller? Nice!
