INCOMING... Datejust Blue.. bam!

Been wanting the Datejust dark blue for some time. Unfortunately, 41mm was just too blocky for my wrist (I am a generic 40 mm guy) and 36 mm just felt too small from the past. Well, the new 2019 DJ36 (126234) completely solved this dilemma. The slimmer case styling along with elongated and thinner lugs makes the watch feel like a 38-40 spec. Wrist presence is somewhat blingy yet understated. She is visually dressy yet can be casually sharp. Killer piece and Rolex nailed it with this one. Tried it on once in the shop and it was all over and had to bring her home.

Here she is and still looks pretty sexy with toilette level lighting

That 36mm is good for your wrist. IMO, a 40mm would be too big (DJ or DD).

Beautiful watch congrats.

Although when people talk about wearing a 39 vs a 40mm, or a 40 vs a 41mm, it sort of confuses me when you can take a ruler and look at what a millimeter is.

Congrats! That dial looks much better to me now that it first did when unveiled. I wasn’t happy they got rid of the track but it’s growing on me!
