Next Price Increase?

For all of you people out there that have been tracking Rolex for generations, curious when we should expect the next price increase? Does Rolex increase prices as part of major announcements such as new Baselworld or do they like the increase to go unnoticed? Have they increase prices across the board or do they increase price model at a time?

Also curious what the price increase will do to all of us on waiting lists?

The way I see it..... talking about a price increase on the watches that I want and at the same time will never be available for me to buy is a moot point

Ha. Raising prices on watches they don’t have? You must be joking.

These kind of comments crack me up. Some of us have not stalked the forums for 100’s of years and like to know this info yet we have to scroll through tons of comments like yours from people complaining about said topic, how about if you’ve read it 100 times and don’t care to read it agin don’t read it and please don’t comment on it makes it tougher for folks to find info needed and hints continued topics cause we don’t get the info. Just a thought!

Prices will tank during the recession, and stagnates when Summer is over

Why do people that don't like them and complain about them feel the need to take the time to respond? Just don't click on it.

the price is the price when you buy regardless of the price when you entered a waiting list. Rolex hasn't raised US prices since 2012 so a sub is 12% cheaper today than it was then

price changes based on improvements (bracelets, clasps, movements) isn't a price increase as its a different watch with different features

No one knows brother and from what you can read in the comments, no one really cares much, as you can't control it and you can't buy at retail anyways.

I don't see how the ADs in the shopping malls are still able to stay in business and pay the rent at this point. They must be getting desperate. Last couple times I've gone in their windows were all empty, the store was completely empty, a bunch of bored salesmen w/ nobody to talk to anything to do .. not even men's 41mm DJ models in stock anymore. Literally. Nothing.

For me the fun of being a WIS has long since passed. I'll probably pick up a few more Rolexes in years to come (not from AD!) if I like the model and get a decent deal, but the fun of being a WIS is gone. There's no point if you can't actually see the watches. I've got other hobbies to chase.

PP did just that not too long ago.. PP increased the price of their Nautilus *substantially* when they see demands going thru the roof and they too don’t have enough watches to supply. Nautilus overnight hit stardom even for those ppl who do not even know what is a nautilus got interested.

It's just a bunch of speculators all in a circle-jerk to see who get make the most $$$ on tulip bulbs. It's a classic, textbook bubble... it's like just 3 guys all selling the same identical watch back-and-forth to each other to inflate perceived price/demand (slight exaggeration, but only slight). There's a lot of signs that the economy is absurdly overheated anyway. There's literally a bubonic plague outbreak happening in downtown Los Angeles right now.. pretty soon people will have more pressing things to worry about than the profit margin on their $100K Patek.

As a side note -- even at $30K or whatever the list is, the Nautilus is STILL overpriced and overrated. It's really not that great a watch.

I hear a 10% price cut is coming to all SS models and all DD40 going up 22%.

Actually a price increase is long overdue.

Really apart of the bubble, is there any other reason for 5711 to have a list price of EUR 27 k almost and market price reaching 60 k?
