Which version of the Submariner would you prefer?
Pretty straight forward poll. Which one would you choose? And any reason why?

114060 for me.
I like the modern 6 digit case, bracelet and dial. Simple as that |

114060. Given a choice, modern over vintage for me personally

114060, but only because of bracelet comfort.

That’s like asking do you prefer a 1995 Ford Explorer or a 2019 Ford Explorer ... obvious which is better. 114060 all the way.

Shocked by poll results so far. My preference are exactly the opposite.
5513 first, 14060 next and 114060 last. Don't care for a 4 line ND with a super case. |

The 114060 ! The ceramic bezel, bracelet and glide-lock clasp make it look and feel more robust, while still maintaining the classic Submariner look. There is no denying it’s heritage !!

I would have a 5 digit for sentimental reasons, it was my first Rolex and I bought it new, my name on the certificate etc...should never have sold it.. that and I own a 6 digit date so the two would work well together.

My 114060. Nice clean look and comfortable to wear. The black means I don’t need to think about what colours I’m wearing.
I’m not a fan of TT watches or the cyclops date ‘bubble’ seen on others. |

I tried vintage for a time owning a 5513 from 67 or thereabouts... it was a fantastic watch but somehow it felt a bit delicate.
I prefer the modern Sub for its case size and bracelet/clasp upgrades. |

14060M. The ceramic and the new big case looks clunky to me. I'm not familiar enough with vintage watches to speak on the 4 digit.

Agree the Cyclops is a killer of the symmetry and beauty, balance of the sub.

I'd prefer this one:
- 6 digit case with thinner lugs - 97200 bracelet - matte dial with painted maxi indicies - matte ceramic bezel - lug holes |

I’d go with the 114 just on the bracelet alone.
