The Ides of March as the Romans termed today, the 15th of March, was not a good day for Julius Caesar, to say the least.

It is a notable day for me, as a year ago today I walked out the AD with my Submariner on my wrist! To celebrate its birthday there will a special clean up and the bracelet will be ultrasonically cleaned.

One year on, I can honestly say that it still amazes me that I have THE WATCH on my wrist.

Thanks to the many fine folk here on TRF for sharing their detailed knowledge, experience and wisdom, who in my time here have provided me with an education!
