Hello,
I know it comes down to personal preferences, but I still would like to see what everyone's opinion on Trade in non GV Milgauss Black dial for Milgauss GV Black dial. Thanks!

All things being equal, I'd trade for the GV version in an instant. Note, I have a Z Blue (which I'd select over either black version) so I'm likely biased.

I think the GV crystal is what makes the watch. Trade? Depends on the deal, how much you may lose on it, how bad you want the GV, etc.

Yes, go with the GV.

I did the exact same thing 18 mos. ago. for the Zblue. The black non gv is a Beauty but the Zblue kept haunting me. It was a good move, that blue dial and green crystal will never dissapoint. In your case trading for the black gv I see no regrets.

Please don't. The non-GV is a much classier watch, it is one of my favorite of all time.

I prefer the non-GV black over the GV black dial. I had the GV black but sold it. I still keep my non-GV black one.

I like the non GV version. Wore if for a few months straight without rotating it out. It is just so stealth and comfortable.
Plus it is discontinued. |

Have owned both GV and non, and could never bond with the green crystal. I would keep the one you have.

How about acquiring a GV crystal and having a watchmaker install it in your non GV?

I like all versions of the Milgauss.
I had the black GV but traded it a long time ago for the 16610LV and then bought the Z Blue the first month it was released. The black GV is very cool but there are probably fewer of the non GV black. It depends on what appeals to you more. If GV sapphire is retired by Rolex I believe they will all be very collectible, more than the non GV even thought there are fewer of those. |

Any money changing hands? If it’s a straight swap than it is an obvious “yes” since the GV sells for a fair bit more than any non-GV.

black dial milgauss looks better non-gv, I would keep it unless you can get a z-blue gv.
