If you could only have 3 Rolex

My collection is:
1)Black ceramic sub (seems nice for everyday use)
Two Tone blue sub ceramic or aluminum (always loved the blue)
3)Two Tone datejust 41mm with diamond champagne dial (seems nice for dressier occasions)

These 3 seem to cover all angles,,,,,,,,maybe the blue sub in gold would make a better 3 combo? Maybe replace the black sub with a Daytona? Just thinking of realistic combos this is what I could get based on availability/affordibitly.

What’s with the Sea, air and land combos? So arbitrary.

I got crap about posting about that from one of my posts. I think that’s a great combo!

For myself, the perfect trio is the SubC, SS SkyD and DaytonaC.

Currently, DJ36 SS, TT Daytona and Yachtmaster.

I'm pretty happy with the combo but I could consider consider dropping either the YM or Daytona for a black GMT if it was released with an updated movement

We all love Rolex but we all are perfectionist and know that a perfect Rolex can become a nightmare. So better to keep it minimum and simple.

Daytona, GMT, Sub. Done!

But once you've owned Ap/PP/JLC, then Rolex are just there collecting dust

Rolex 126710 blro
DD40 pt
Rolex 114060 or 126600

Edit: reading comprehension is at a low this morning. Although I’d still love to keep the Patek in my three, I’ll sub it out for a DD Pt.

I could not only have Rolex in my collection. Great watch as I have three but definitely need other brands to spice it up! ( hint AP )

Happy with my three...wouldn’t swap any of them for any other Rolex. But let’s see what Basel brings!

1 One of the last 5 digit Subs.

2 an early 1988 to 1992ish white dial 16520 Daytona.

3 either a late 1999ish black dial 16520 or a 116509

Sorry this is the closest I can get to 3!!
