My AD is getting Closer!

My good friend is the Mgr at my local AD and called me tonight about a watch he just got in. Told him I would stop by as he is only up the street from my house. He knows I have been patiently waiting for the Sd43. He did not have the watch i have been looking for but offered this to me and even though its a beauty, I passed. If anyone is in the Central Virginia area and looking for this 2 Tone Sub I would be glad to connect you to him for a face to face sale at the AD. Hopefully my time will come soon on the Sea-Dweller but glad he keeps me in mind when new pieces arrive.

He’s playing you. SD50 shouldn’t take long. I’ve had it offered at least three times in 12 months. (Bought it once)

And lots of other places as well. Two-tone subs aren't very hard to find.

OP, what's this thread about exactly?

I think OP is acting in mere ignorance; thinks any sports rolex is a rarity due to all the craziness, when in fact many just aren’t and show up with consistency at ADs

Why would the AD not say over the phone the watch model he is holding for one? I have seen posts from many here, where the AD calls and says he has something for you. On top of that offering a completely different watch than the one desired.

I can perhaps see my AD surprising me like that for a SS Daytona.

It’s clear... OP is waiting for a SD43
his AD offered him a TT black dial sub which
He passed on... if someone wants the
TT Black Dial Sub he has the AD info.

No worries - was just putting it out there to any forum members who may be in the Virginia area and were looking for this piece

Sd43 isnt that hard to get and if my ad had me coming in for a dog/2-tone and wasted my time it would be my last visit. Try a different ad, them offering this piece gives you a clue where you stand with them.

Shame you passed on that sub, but the right move if you want the SD43.

Can you tell your AD buddy to send me a Daytona? :)
