There's Too Much Rolex Stuff On TRF To Keep Up With !!!

There are way too many members.........

There's the new Watch Tech Boards....and all that unfathomable tech stuff...

There's the Reference Library...which Rocks.... !!!

We've even got Omega and Panerai stuff (gotta keep up with the competition)

And Coffee shops............and Photography....Reviews, Jokes, Galleries, For Sale, and even a place to have good guys look your future watch over for advice..

Things move fast....It's hard to keep up with it all............

Have we gone too far ???

Should we just keep on doing what we're doing..........???

Or should we keep bringing you the latest Tech/Reference Materials/Great Pictures and good old fashioned friendly Camaraderie.. ??

Yeah, and I wouldn't have 5 Oysters and a troubled marriage if it weren't for TRF!

There was a time when I read every new post in every thread. Impossible to do now with all the posts and info here. Miss a day and you're done.

TRF has certainly grown since I joined about 6-7 weeks ago.

You do have to pick what to read and sometimes the stuff is gone so quick because there are so many new threads being started. I just realized I post my photos on the general discussion board and not the photo gallery. So I will start putting mine there.

Not sure if you keep it how it is going or maybe try to re organize it??? I know that will be really easy to do

Bottom line is this is one hell of a forum and no wonder it is so busy.

thanks for everything,

Danny

I hear ya Larry. TRF used to have that family feel but it has grown so much, I don't even know who half the members are anymore. I think growth is good and bad, and TRF has handled the growth very well I feel. This is still the best forum around, with some of the best members on any forum. I look at it this way, the wealth of knowledge is growing, so it can't be all that bad.

its really nice to have somewhat like minded enthusists appercate something together. the changes in rolex models are so small and amazing when you start to follow and love them. the rolex forum just adds to my addictions =)

Keep it up!

Agreed--the forum only gets better (though I used to be able to keep up with everything). I don't know why there are other watch forums, but I guess the posers and tossers that get booted from here need somewhere to go to annoy people.

Larry, did anyone ever tell you that you are a troublemaker? First you start the Three Word Thread which has taken on a life of its own and won't quit. Now you're raising the issue that we've gotten too big.

I think living in the desert has fried your brain beyond repair. What are we going to do with you?

I guess we could take JJ's suggestion and ban half the membership. Hell, if we just ban him that would cut down on the number of posts/day by at least 60%. Hmmmm.

I use the New Posts button as well.

I really like this place, but it is hard to keep up with the increasing new membership and high volume of posts.

Something like 80 new posts/threads in the General Discussion section, when I logged on this morning.

IMHO we are getting over loaded.

TRF is awesome!

Had it not been for this forum, Rolex, to me, would have just been "that expensive watch that my dad wears".
