I don't get this one. RM and J&CO together are OK but FPJ Is just too different. Anyways, on a our technical standpoint I would probably say J&CO because of the Astronomia and the musical pieces, as a sports watch I would say RM and in an ideal world FPJ as an everyday watch!

FPJ.
Not a great compare IMO, but you probably know that. The ones you’ve put out previously were interesting, but this and the prior ALS not so much. I’d say it would be FPJ/ALS or ALS/PP or FPJ/PP etc.

Journe for me. Richard Mille and Jacob & Co. are just not my style. Frankly, you'd have to pay me to wear them.

I like and would wear some Journes, am impressed by some J&Co watches (think astronomia) but would not wear any of them, and am regularly underwhelmed by RM. I don't get the hype for the latter brand.

2 of them are in your face and rather vulgar, the other is pure class and made by a watch genius
I bet I don't have to explain more

OP it's a bit tiring seeing your battles and comparison threads. We are not a Pokemon card trading group.

Don’t really care for RM, Jacob has a huge variety of watches, and they have so many styles. Most Jacobs don’t do anything for me, but there are quite a few I’d love to own.
Journe is basically perfection, I own a couple and would love to get more, don’t think they have ever made a watch that I would want to own. The Chronomete Souverain, in my opinion is the best simple 3 hand watch. Design, quality and price taken into consideration. |

FPJ is by far better than the other two. In my opinion (and I might be the minority) RM and Jacob look like toy watches. I don’t understand the fascination.

FPJ for me -- I just cannot get into RM (even from a fan POV, I'll likely never be able to afford one). Great watches, sure, but their aesthetic to me is awful.

The fact that J&Co is in the same conversation as FPJ is astounding to me

Maybe I'm missing something, but I dont get the RM thing. Why the lofty pricing?

It looks like many people on this forum judge a watch only based on the looks and don't analyze the technical side anymore.
It just take 5 minutes of study to understand that J&Co watches are just fantastic pieces of horological art and that the Astronomia line is really top class. But i get it, it's much easier line up with the Journe bandwagon. Just to be clear: Journe watches are fantastic, I would really LOVE to own one (I simply can't afford them). But to downplay J&Co watches only because of the looks is just wrong IMHO. |

Producer Michael is a one-man marketing machine for Jacob.
I don't like Jacob watches, nor the RMs, but I'm lucky enough to own a Journe. |

Journe all the way.
Btw, Jacob & Co. releases high horology and can compete with top manufacturers - look it into it. It is not about just bling.
