What TT Daytona would you buy?

As I have posted if I can get a tt GMT with green dial I would (not everyone's cup of tea) If I didn't own a TT Yachtmaster (white dial) I would get a blue one like JJs. I have a blue Sub. Which TT Daytona would you get?--specify dial color . I have even been looking at Breitlings at my AD--can't get into them . Thanks

There's only one Daytona that I would ever consider - WG meteorite.

It is very much in production. It's going anywhere from $14K - 20K, depending on what grey market dealer is selling it. I think retail is about $15K. Which is why it is only on my wish list.

Yes, Otis, seen it for real, held it for real, drooled all over it for real, smooched it for real, held it close to my heart for real.....

....and I still cannot for the life of me ever understand how any idiot in his right frame of mind would actually go out and pay PREMIUM price on an SS model when this beauty is available for much less.....with all that SOLID 18 K GOLD thrown in for free!!!

Yes, JJ. I have looked at that one. Furman has it for $9200. Rockrolex: I would have thought that DC IP lawyers would have one of those babies (you pictured) on each wrist. At least that's what us small town Richmond lawyers think.

I agree! Lucky you... I asked to see that one and they had no daytonas in stock last time I was at the local AD. I love how the steel dial just seems to 'shimmmer' with a life of its own in different lights..
mmmmm.......

Nope. It's a genuine original Rolex black leather strap with deployment clasp. That's the one I test wore and even my wife thought it looked great.

That's true, Terry (oh, ye of the viper hobby ). But there are so many of them around, that a few of us like to be a bit different. That's why I wear this one on my left wrist

and on my right is this one

I am with Ed on this. I love the Meteorite dial Daytona. I am going get one as soon I get another good plaintiff's case.

JJ, I agree with you re: the TT Slate dial Daytona. If I were to get a TT Daytona, that would be it. I tried one on at an AD and it was really nice. On the other hand, my wife has the TT Slate YM and sometimes the face looks kind of plain to me.

You mean PI lawyers, don't you? We do represent plaintiffs as well as defendants. We are non-discrimintory practitioners. We'll argue either side - as long as the client pays us. (Oohh, did that just give lawyers a bad name? )

In my line, product liabilty defense, I would be referring to all plaintiffs' lawyers--I only work one side of the street. I can see where that is different in IP work. I'd better get back to defending now so I can get the GMT or Daytona...............

I fed you that line on a silver platter, Al. I would have been sorely disappointed had you not taken the bait.

I handle mostly business to business litigation, so sometimes I am on one side of the table or the other. It depends on what my regular clients need. I don't do med mal cases, but I have been on both sides of the table for major personal injury cases. I have even been hired by some of my opponents after I have beaten them in litigation.
