Incoming! It’s finally here and it’s got me starry-eyed

Saw this pop up on a large dealers site and bought it immediately! One of my favorite APs of all time. No clue why they are so under appreciated. I’m not sure how many people here own one or have handled on but I highly suggest you do! So undervalued compared to the rest of APs out there! Over the moon, or stars rather :)

wow such a unique design! congrats!!
i’d never seen it before, what year was it made? and if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the price range for something like this? i’m guessing it’s not crazy expensive since it’s time only? either way, this configuration is something i’d never seen before!

The star wheel is pretty cool and definitely looks good on your wrist. I’d definitely rather have this than a Re Master.

2:50 in the photo
the three discs have the hour, and as they move they point to the minutes

Prices I've seen have been anywhere from 17k to 27k depending on reference

Can you share the reference model # for that watch? It is very interesting.

And are the marks on the dial’s clous de paris treatment something intentional? I tried sharpening the photo but couldn’t tell. I circled the ones I’m referencing in red ink below.

Yes they are. Not sure why they're there, but they are 2 small holes. Reference is 25720

I absolutely love that function. It is also one of my fav. I almost bought one last year for 18K but they have been shooting up in price and now they are at 28k. Lovely piece. Congrats.

They need to bring that AP star wheel function, hand hammered dial, and in different colors...

...on a Code 1159 case!

I would love to see a modern interpretation of the wander hours complication in a CODE. I think that would really allow AP to draw some attention away from the RO line
