Dinner table etiquette

Now this is the proper way to set your dinner napkin . Anybody else do this to protect the clasp or am I just paranoid trying to keep my watch looking pristine.

This seems proper to me and smart and you’ll be a much better fellow diner if you aren’t so worried

Yep...I do the same!

Doesn't take that much extra effort to have a bit of wrist awareness.

I have done this before, but I think generally only when a watch is very very new. Never at a nice restaurant, but those tend to have tablecloths. I see your table has crayons so I’d say you're within etiquette

Class. Pure class. I wouldn‘t have my napkin like that no matter what watch I was wearing.

To my defense it’s a couple of weeks old and restaurants with crayons are the best way to keep a toddler busy!

No defense needed by a man with a new daytona and toddler. Seems like two great companions for a dinner out and a great excuse to define your own etiquette
