Where has my thread gone?

Yesterday 12th Feb, when I signed in, the threads apart from 3 new ones that day, were blank and had 'moved' against them all?
Now I check, and cannot find my thread that had had about 4,200 views, and 3 pages of replies?
Do I start my thread again:- 'Who will be the 1st to report a discount on msrp at an AD'? or just wait to see if my prediction of May will be correct?

I think it was pretty much concluded that your prediction didn’t seem to resonate with most people on here...

Hang on,....One minute it seems all the posts on the 12th were lost due to a 'glitch'?
My fairly innocuous new thread repeating my lost thread on General Discussion this morning, was moved within a minute of being posted. Yet, one of the last posts before the glitch, in response, noted about a shopping mall giving a $500 discount and the AD telling the member who posted, to come back next day to take advantage of the discount on the Rolex to be purchased.
Well, I'm interested in trying for a discount at a AD, on my next purchase, and many of the 4,200 'views' resulting in 3 pages of responses were mostly positive rather than po - poing the idea.

Simple answer just ask any AD you visit for a discount, then they will give you one of two answers, either yes or no, what could be simpler.

If you look at some of the other threads on “missing posts”, etc. then you’ll see that the forum servers experienced a significant event that apparently required rebuilding from a back-up.

So I think many threads and posts were compromised. Don’t believe it was a reflection on yours.

Having said that, Peter’s advice about the point of your thread is prolly best.
