Birthday Surprise
It was my 50th Birthday a few weeks ago. We had just gotten back from an awesome trip with friends to their house in the Dominican Republic (we took around 5 COVID tests in a week) and started our quarantine on my birthday. I didn’t expect anything more except a great dinner we ordered to our country house. We were getting ready to drive out of the city and my wife said we needed to leave a bit later than planned. Around 4pm a package arrived from our jeweler and it was the size of a watch box. My wife doesn’t surprise me with big gifts. In fact the last surprise gift was the Day Date she gave me for our wedding. This time she got me the new model of the very first Rolex I ever owned. A Pepsi GMT on a jubilee bracelet. She decided to get the watch a few weeks before we went away and didn’t understand when our AD said she was cutting things very close. However, as we were taxiing to leave NY she got pics from the AD and it was delivered as I said on my birthday with the card dated for my birthday. An awesome surprise where evenmy kids were excited to see me open it as they know I have a bit of a watch problem. Anyway...sorry for the long winded story and thanks for looking!
