Released 2 years ago and the ONLY limited edition Tudor ever made

ONLY 1181 pieces .

The new chronographs are stunning and I'll probably buy them but this All Blacks is the one to get, sold out in a fraction but today you can still find them at a very good price. Above list but not too much

If something common like a steel daytona sell for 3 times list (almost) ...One day the market will realize how rare this Tudor is

Again,,, 1181 pieces, that's probably the same number of steel Daytona's Rolex makes .... every 2 weeks ( year production will probably be around 20-25 K)

PVD models are only for a small niche of the market. The love for steel watch is both in its shine, but also the knowledge that whatever happens to it, a quick polish makes it look like new.

I don't think this is ever going to take rise. Just like so many Porsche Design watches, they don't capture the vast volume of people you need to have Daytona, Nautilus or ROO situation.

However, if you do like it, then go for it.

Have you ever seen a used one? Pvd scratches and chips. No not a fan. Plus people want 9k for it.

It looks beautiful NEW, but DLC/PVD is an absolute no-no for me. Now if it was in ceramic.. well, that'd be another story entirely!

I think we're still a ways away from the market caring about limited edition Tudors, let alone one that is a PVD model produced at over 1,000 examples.

Still a nice watch though.

This is a wonderful Tudor. Not many of the PVD watches look as good as this or my old 1975 Porsche Design Chronograph!

I bought this watch from my AD when it was introduced but did not like the look of the watch as I owned it. The black makes it wear smaller and the PVD is not setup to take day to day wear and maintain its finish. I know that is part of the appeal but not for me. I traded it back to my AD and moved on.

I’d never own a watch that has PVD. I don’t see it becoming collectible.

Great watch and I own one. Not sure if they are still issuing these as they originally said there would be a new one for every new All Blacks player that joined. They're now up to 1192. It's information I can't find anywhere.
The PVD on these is next level and not to be confused with what may be used on cheaper watches. They use titanium carbide which is rather tough.
I agree though, this could be a sleeper model and will be sought after at some point in the future. I don't think a lot of people know about it though.

PVD as mentioned above sucks bigtime for daily wear and heavy use.

When the PVD starts coming off - its gonna look like poo!!! This is from first hand experience. I will never buy a PVD watch again. If you want black it needs to be proper full ceramic.

The reference to 'All Blacks' is the New Zealand Rugby team, although I can't confirm if the player tally has anything to do with the watch numbers as described.

All about speculation for some isn’t it. Return potential from “canny” investors has ruined this hobby.

As for this watch; nope. Not with PVD, maybe a more durable DLC coating, maybe. Also, not a fan of the All Blacks connection.

When the OP posted the Tudor pic, it reminds me of my old Porsche Design chronograph which was my first nice watch. I purchased mine used 30 plus years ago and i wore it everywhere so it has the well used look. Your watch looks brand new. I believe Tom Cruise wore this model in Top Gun.

I do like this Tudor, but if worn frequently at work and play, the finish will take a beating over time. If it was currently offered, I might pick one up.

If you count silly dial variants (which watch collectors tend to do) the this is not the ONLY limited edition Tudor.

In the metal, I find the finish way too dark. Some will love it though.
