FS: 1958 Tudor Red Triangle Submariner 7924 Big Crown with Tropical Gilt Dial

Description: Case: The case is excellent with thick and intact bevels. The case shows some wear from use and has a semi sleeve polished finish. The caseback is engraved and reads "Martin Love Audrey 3-7-60" The red triangle bezel insert is also in excellent condition showing average wear for its age. The red triangle is still vibrant and stands out prominently on the insert. Dial: The gilt chapter ring dial has aged with a warm tropical patina that fades from a light to a dark brown hue. The dial shows light wear for its age and there is some additional but subtle patina around the lume plots. The lume has aged to a warm sandy hue and the hands match perfectly. All lume glows when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate. Bracelet: The 11 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent and shows only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1969 date code. Accessories: None. Notes: A heavy hitter pulling Tudor out of the shadow of its big brother.
