Cartier Pasha

A friend of mine offered me this vintage/20year old Pasha he was given and I really liked the cream dial with the blue subdials, which is usually only on the gold models as far as I can see, so I had the caseback opened to check it was real and then I took it off his hands for a little drink. The bracelet needs fixing and maybe the case needs a refurb, but it's a nice piece on the strap.

Very cool my friend

I’ve always liked the way Cartier does their numerals. The 12 looks Dali-esque

Cheers Brian, agree the numerals are nicely italicized.

Congrats! Looks like an early quartz model in steel. These vintage Pasha are very handsome watches. Mine says hello!

Thanks guys, when my mate casually chucked the watch at me I thought it was probably rubbish/fake but the dial is really nice, I am a Panda lover, and under a magnifying glass the detailing is very well done.

Very nice, that shiny unmarked bezel looks good and tempting me to get mine done up but I'll leave it a bit rugged for the summer.

A gem of a find. IMO a matching blue strap would be regal.

Nice! And nicely unusual.

I remember the 1990s, when Pashas were the Daytonas of that era.

Sounds like good days, I was a teenager then dreaming of a Tag.

Looks good especially with a cigar, sort of like Wall Street - money never sleeps vibe.

Cartier has a nice Lagerfeld-ish air, especially when the Roman numbers are overexaggerared.

Well Michael Douglas did wear a Cartier in the original Wall St, think it was a Santos Galbee.
