2015 116520 needs hands replaced per RSC?
So, I have a 2015 black dial SS Daytona with the blue chroma light hands and markers.
I sent it thru my AD to Rolex, and got the service estimate today. They noted it would be optional to replace all the hands for $164. Under "Watch Analysis" RSC stated "Hands spotted, Hands Scratched, case scratched etc" So, I am not sure how the hands got scratched or spotted. I bought it new from an AD and no one has opened it until now. I intend to pay to replace the hands, I figure they will be chromalight as well. Is there any reason that the hands are spotted? The reason I sent it for service was because the crown didn't feel like it engaged when pulled out it to set the time. The crown would move the hands but it didn't feel like it should have. Also there was rotor noise (metal on metal) if I shook it just right. I told them not to polish the case nor bracelet. I just find it odd the hands would be damaged. Any thoughts on the hand damage? |

It’s business. Small scam of the RSC.
