Icon6 Yellow Gold Royal Oak

Does anyone know why the value of the Yellow Gold Royal Oak with the Blue dial (yellow sub dials) more than the rose gold with same dial and sub dial?
Were the yellow gold watches limited?

Several years ago when I visited the NYC boutique, the SA said that YG RO's are limited production while RG aren't.

In today's environment, all RO's are basically limited production.

Folks at my favorite boutique are usually very kind keeping my hopes alive for many of the pieces I fancy. YG ROC is in the "sorry man, forget about it" class.
