Birthday present to myself.

This won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I’m primarily a Rolex collector/ wearer. I’ve acquired almost everything I want from Rolex. Today is my birthday. I decided to pick up a watch I have been admiring a while. This watch was very affordable, just over 6k. It scratched off a few holes / needs in my collection.

- super thin
- looks good with suit
- blue strap
- first manual wind.

I have to say, I love it way more than I thought I would. I’m looks even better in the flesh and it’s super light weight. It’s my first manual wind watch too! Plus, it’s my birthday so I don’t feel bad for buying yet another watch.

Great choice!
What’s it’s like to wind / set the time with the small crown?

You simply turn the crown while it is all the way pushed in. 30 turns and I was off abs running. I’m not an expert though. This is my first manual.

Quite easy though. The crown is small but shaped like a octogon, similar to a nut, so very easy to turn.

Congrats! looks great! It's been on my maybe list for a while but i havent pulled the trigger because i find myself reaching for bracelet options 99% of the time while my watches on straps sit in the box.

It was on my maybe list for a long time. If it helps any, it wears like a 40mm but is very thin. I wouldn’t say the watch is light. I would go even further and say it’s weightless. So it is something very different than the rest of my stuff.

That's sharp looking. I was never much of a fan of the brand but that watch has me interested

Nope. At this thinness and this price point, maybe not doable. I have been eyeing some of the really thin Piaget Altiplanos, different price point though.
