Question?
Hi Guys, Girls
Help me out here. I see many posts from "Time to go" This user always shows us suspect Rolex watches most of the time listed on e-bay. This user must have a full time job? What is the deal does this person get paid for all the work he or she does? OK now give me the scoop if you know more then I? |

I think he just does a spectacular job of educating us about the fakes out there, and showing us scams in the making that are listed on ebay.

Great guys thank you for your comments. What I really am interested in knowing is if he is employed to do what he does as he is on here all the time? I am having trouble spending 30 min to an hr a day on the form with the demands of life. Time to go is on here all the time? Makes me wonder if this is his job or somthing? If nobody on the form knows the answer I am going to message him. I really want to know.

He is a great guy who 'specializes' in finding fakerrroooo Rolex's on Ebay - and he is very good at it. And yes, he does have a regular job. He does not get paid for what he does here in spotting fakes. (Even though I think eBay SHOULD pay him for the services he is providing them). |

He's a member of the forum who feels strongly about counterfeit watches.
Yes, he has a real job. No, he doesn't get paid for his input. (probably should though, he's pretty good at ferreting them out)

The watchout section is a section to discuss the authenticity of watches not only on eBay but all possible queries. its purely done for the love of having a safe market place for buyers and sellers. We do not receive any money nor are we employed by any organization for our time. TTG and the guys including myself all work for a living external to TRF, and we believe what we do is for the greater good, I know at times it seems we never leave TRF, I work odd hours, sometimes through the night depending on the timezone my client is located, I'm also married and have a little 2.5 year old girl :-) I am more than proud to know all the guys here in Watchout, I love the work and hard effort everyone puts in TTG is not only the driving force with his dedication, he's a damn great bloke and I would love to have a drink and a laugh with him anytime!!! Dave.

He and the rest of the individuals who keep the bad guys at "bay" are some of the MVPs of this forum.
I truly thank them! |

WOW, my post to fame...."the winds of change"... Thank you folks!
Why do I list so much in the watchout section, let me count the ways.... TERRY runs a sweat shop in the Watchout Section, he will not allow us to leave unless we meet our quota. The last person to go into the bad boys list was Dave, he had to stay up nearly 23 hours for days on in to get back on his good side. Stan vouched for Dave and Terry allowed Dave out of the section again. I have to be forward with the gang in this forum. Ebay recently paid me. I was paid in the way of Ebay BUCKS. I liked it so much, I continued buying to make more money. I even sold myself my own items to make more money. Unfortunately, the Ebay and Paypal fees are killing me. I write hundredths of posts to get JJ to comment on one every 2-3K posts. I was successful yesterday (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=83116). As Bodybump (Oscar) says, you do not need to believe me or anyone in this forum on anything they say. Do not believe anyone ever, just use common sense. But if you ever have any questions, this forum is full of expertise that will guide you in the right direction. Just start a post, as I do, and get our experts to comment! CHEERS my friends! |

I propose an avatar for TTG - IMO it is well-deserved!

TTG, Dave, Terry and all the regulars here deserve a huge round of applause for stopping numerous frauds on eBay. There isn't anyone looking out for this on eBay and its not right. They should be compensating for each removed fraudulent listing, IMHO. I raise a toast.

Wow thank you everyone and to the man himself for answering my question. I now have huge respect for you. It seems like a great deal of work. I always check out the watches in question and some of them are so bad they make me laugh but others are close so your job is not an easy one.
Cheers to a job well done. |
