Submariner Identification Assistance
Hello TRF Friends!
Have come across a Submariner that has no crown guards and the dial says : submariner 333 feet Any info would be appreciated! Most likely 5508 or 6536 if the dial is original. Try hosting the pic on imgur or a photo hosting site?

Bad redial.
If 6536, 6536-1, or 5508 it is the wrong crown. Those are the obvious issues jumping out. |

Redial, what do the numbers say between the lugs? Best bet would be to part it out

This watch looks very familiar. That awful-looking crown on the dial and completely wrong text (and text information) are hard to forget.

Need better photos.
IIRC, back in the older says on VRM, some people referred to that as a common NYC area watchmaker's redial. Need better photos but likely a legit watch with a bad redial from the 70s.
