Serial help

Hi, just interested in serial numbers.
Mine is a 2016 watch and the serial on the rehaut starts with '4KX'

Can anyone give any more info on this? I was pretty sure they all started with a letter.

Rolex serial numbers have been random since about 2010.

They can start with any letter or any number.

K 2001 (Sep)

G 2010 (July) last of the single letter 6 number serials,from latter part 2010 some random serials started to appear these have now 8 digits mixture letters and numbers in any order.
G2010/ 2011 On Random serials till present time now all 8 digits mixture letters numbers in any order
