Incoming YM Blue after 1 year

This has been a very fortunate week for me with the ability to add some nice pieces to the collection, but this was the pinnacle of the week when I was able to pick up a watch I have been eyeing since 2015 when you could go into the AD and maybe even get a discount. This AD took my request a little over a year ago, and today I was able to pick it up. The cool thing… not a huge history and it is a major NYC AD, so pretty stoked! My picture taking skills are horrible, but alas here it is….

This has always been one of my favorites. Hard to capture the beauty of that dial.

Congratulations!
This reference is awesome.

I always figured the reason the Yachtmaster lost out to the sub way back, when watches were available for msrp at AD’s, was the price difference.
The Yachtmaster being more expensive, if you wanted a Rolex sports model the sub was financially more accessible than the Yachtmaster.

Things have changed now off course

That's a very nice watch. It's a shame I had the chance to have it and sold it

Nice shot.
Is that a 37 or 40? Was the blue dial ever made in the 37?
